As a trusted strategy advisor to private equity firms and corporations across sectors, Christy Carter leverages more than 20 years of experience in private equity markets. She also leads the middle market for BCG’s Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice in North America. Leaders rely on her deep knowledge of transactions throughout the lifecycle, from buy-side diligence to portfolio acceleration, M&A strategy, and exit. She brings particular depth in consumer services, business services, and health & wellness.
David Joiner

Mr. Joiner has spent 35+ years in the industrial services segment across multiple trades and industrial verticals.Over the last 20 years, he has served as President/CEO of 3 separate entities that have strategically grown organically from inception through successful private equity exit. One of those operations was an industry leading machining and robotic welding operation that served the North American nuclear/ fossil/gas power, steel, pulp and paper and refining industries. Mr. Joiner has extensive experience in organizational strategy, strategic sales and marketing, and driving operational efficiencies.
Gene White
Board Member/Advisor
Mr. White brings decades of experience in precision manufacturing to the ReNEW team. His career rapidly grew from leading laser materials processing R&D for EWI to running Coherent General, an industrial laser manufacturer. By 1993, Mr. White had co-founded Laserflex, a precision-based metal fabricator with locations in Ohio and South Carolina. He successfully exited Laserflex to Ryerson in 2017, after 24 years of building a business with more than 100 employees. Over the next four years, Mr. White continued to serve as President of Laserflex post-acquisition, executing the division’s integration and growth plans until his retirement in 2021.
Kevin Richardson

Mr. Richardson retired from Ryerson (NYSE:RYI) in 2021 after a 37-year career in the metals distribution and fabrication business. He spent his last 14 years with the company as a regional president responsible for approximately half of Ryerson’s $5.7 billion in revenue. Mr. Richardson has extensive experience in operational strategy, capital allocation, and mergers and acquisitions. He also serves as a board member for Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions.
